About - eXadox

eXadox is a Rapid Application Development (RAD) technology developed by MultiCIM Technologies Inc. as a strategic transaction data processing and document management tool to complement eXtractoflex.

The concept behind eXadox was to create an environment where with minimal effort data and documents can be processed, transformed, archived and retrieved with little or no programming effort using built-in or external services. eXadox is built on a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) meaning it was designed to take advantage of external service applications. eXadox uses XML as data exchange format.

The power behind eXadox RAD comes from the fact that it is a forms-driven technology therefore facilitating data/document management servicing requests and control. eXadox RAD can also be used to develop standalone applications. eXadox DT document archival and search was developed using eXadox RAD technology. In general, eXadox RAD may be used as a rapid and easy way to develop applications that typically require the following functionality :

• User-defined metadata input structure and content

• Metadata input entry by a user or external program

• Association of the data with one or more electronic file

• Services or tasks to be executed to/with the data and/or the electronic file

• Operation in Batch mode including dispatching, monitoring and execution

• Integration with other applications using a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)

• XML data structure
